On the highways of the United States, there are many trucks that are filled up with cars. These trucks are delivering cars to locations for different reasons. - The location for pick-up and delivery – Many people may think that the auto transport truck will come to their home to pick up the car and will drop it off wherever it is needed. - Close and open transport – There are two main types of shipping that an auto transport firm opens. Open shipping is the most common. It is when the cars are placed on a truck and are exposed to the elements as the truck is moving. A closed transport puts the cars inside of a truck and is best for valuable cars and older cars.
- They ship more than cars – The shipping companies can handle just about any vehicle, whether it is a car, a motorcycle, a boat or something else that moves.
